oh h-rrrroo.

SO a little update. I bought my sister Jangmi an airplane ticket to come visit me for the weekend of May 8th. it should be fun. she's only 20 and has a 5 month old with special needs and her hubby is in Iraq..all other immediate family is in Korea except me. life tough for her right now and i think she needs a little break away from everything. it's nice her sister in-law offered to watch Ali. Jangmi can't wait for Korean food, she's been having withdrawals.
In other news Terri found out she has breast cancer in both a couple weeks ago, then a week later she found out she also has cervical cancer. it's so unfortunate and to top it off, she's only 29. Doctors say it's been there for a year. I have high hopes for her though, she's young and totally in shape so i have faith that she'll make it through just fine. One year of chemo and double mastectomy next year. Hopefully i'll make it to visit her in July. I say losing all yer hair isnt too bad, at least you can rock a different hair style everyday. :o)

Bar Crawl

So we were all over the Village today. I am wiped out. I tweeted throughout the day..so that's pretty much all on my twitter page.
Before it gets too late..I have to say I had the most amazing time at the Britney Spears concert. Haley gets hooked up cause Joel is the tour manager of the Jonas Brothers and finalllly I get hooked up to see someone I like... It's awesome to know people <3... because we are so special, in between wardrobe racks wheeling by us and backup dancers running past us to get on stage, or people setting tubs of dancers shoes by our feet... I was able to take some great shots.xoxo (dont judge, EVERYONE loves britney, and if they say they dont...they are fuckin liars...those people tend to be her biggest fans.)

At work. About to vomit all over my desk. My desk is in close proximity to the break room. Someone tell me why someone would be microwaving fish at 10:30am?? SCRATCH THAT, why would you bring fish to work and microwave it to begin with?? This is not the first time either, Katie and I are constantly spraying air fresher around 10:30 everyday and sometimes in the break room while people are microwaving their stink. GET A CLUE! and why is it that i have one of the biggest offices but i don't have a door?? it's beyond me. Sooo living life. We went to starland about 2 weeks ago to see E-town. I love them, great show. I miss going to shows. However, it was sooo loud..i wish i had ear plugs to tone it down..does this mean I'm getting old? Anyways, i was sick for almost a whole week, got over it.. now my throat hurts..uuuuugh. I guess that's not really worth complaining about. I found out a couple a weeks ago my new born niece is very sick and she will never get any better. It's very sad. I'm sure it was caused because she was so premature. I need to take a trip to TX to see her.

In happier news, Hailey is here. Finally, after numerous texts of false alarms. I'm so happy for Andrea. She's adorable. Andrea's the first one of my biffles to have a kid...and so it begins.

So this weekend we are going with a bunch of people to see The Watchmen in Imax and then dinner after. Not to be Debbie Downer, but I really do not have any desire to see the movie. We are going up to New Rochelle to see it, so it'll be fun to take the trip. It's a cute development they have up there. Rick's B-day is tomorrow, I thought were were doing Altlantic City for it, but I guess not. We should all go soon though before they start charging summer rates of like $400 dollars a room. I really need to keep up with my journal, it's so bad. Last post was in January lets see if I can update on any of those things:
What to expect in 2009?
1. Keeping up with the eating healthy - doing very well, so far lost over 6% of total body weight. EXCELLENT!
2. keeping up with being as green as I can. "GO GREEN!" -i've been using all scrap paper for notes and my green bag for snacks, i need to work harder on it.
3. Getting back into the routine of the gym -i started going to the gym BEFORE work everyday, untill i got sick. will start again on monday.
4. Andrea is having Hailey - HAPPENED
5. A trip outside the US - not yet
6. Perhaps TX, NC, and CA too - TX is look like end of this month/early next month.
Not too bad so far, the 2nd month of the year just ended. I need to get a move on the traveling stuff now. The extra $3,000.00 I got back for my federal tax return should help towards traveling expensives.

Is it that time of the year?

Thanksgiving was good this year, I didnt leave the house full..it was a much better feeling not rolling out of the house. Christmas is coming up soon. I put the tree up, it is gorgeous. We have some new additions to our family.. reese, sir issac, sly junior and TBD. I did some of my xmas shopping. Of course Matt had to start shaking some of his things under the tree like a little kid trying to guess what things were. I should have known better than to put them under the tree so soon. I finally caved after his relentlase guessing games and let him open the Wii. (since we regretfully sold ours last year, plus i kinda wanted to play it). So christmas day is not going to be AS exciting for him since he opened the main present. We picked up rock band world tour yesterday..I rock at singing. The christmas party is on the 16th, hopefully it is fun. Hoprfully there will be another xmas bonus at work and a fabulous gift basket.

So, history was made. Obama will be the next president. Hopefully things will change for the better, I have faith that they will. Voting is so important and I'm happy that Matt voted for the first time in his life. If you don't/didnt vote you have no right to complain about how this country is ran.
I do have to admitt McCain's speech last night was great. He showed himself to be a stand up guy, unlike his suporters (the booing). Let's face the facts, who voted for him?
1. Rich white people (business owners) 2. White Trash
..so why would we expect anything different?

I would like to take another trip to Seoul to see my momz, perhaps this weekend. I want to travel soooon! NY is boring me. :(

The Forks

Okay so Pops supposed to be getting out of the hospital on the 30th, hes been there for over a month. I can't imagine what it's been like. I'm sure he's excited.
In other news, I had a pretty bad birthday..but I won't get into that. At least it ended with a nice fillet mignon dinner and a winning $2.00 scratch off.
I also started reading the Twilight series, thanks to the people at work for the gift certificate to the book store. I finished Twilight and New Moon already. I am going to start Eclipse tonight..then after, Breaking Dawn. The books are 500-600 pages each, but I've been flying through(probably because they are meant for young adults "young adults".). I'm not one to be into vampires at all, I'm not one of those weirdos...but the books are great. We'll have to see if the movie for the first book of the series Twilight is anything like it, I believe it comes out in November.

Happy Birthday to Me!

So yes, today is my birthday. Another year older..uuugh. People say, "Isn't it funny how when you're young, the only thing you want is to be older. Now that you're older and now all you want is to be young again." We'll for one, when I was younger I never wanted to be older. Oh the denial of getting older..26 is such a crap age. At least when you're 25 you have the option of rounding down to 20. With 26, you can only round up..up to the dreadful age of 30.sigh. I have some time before that time comes so I won't think too much about it. As for my birthday plans, I don't really have that much going on for it. Babes scored Yankees tickets for tonight. I'd prefer not to go, but I don't want him NOT to go so I convinced him to go with out me..my cousin Brandon is going in my place. I've been so tired going back and forth to the hospital that spending time relaxing at home sounds like nothing could be more fabulous. Besides, it's raining out right now. Tomorrow would be a better day/night to do something...it's SATURDAY!!! In other news, how do I feel about Lindsey Lohan texting my boyfriend? I'M PISSED..BACK OFF MY MAN. Kidding. Kidding. I think it's pretty fucking awesome if you ask me...and I hope it continues. The day is almost over.. thank goodness. I'm ready to get outta here. Hopefully it's a nice cool day out tomorrow. I hear Sunday is supposed to be brutal. I hope not, I believe we have plans to go to the renaissance fair again. We'll see.
